An autobiographical anecdote
Once a year there is a fair in Barcelona, in which pins are sold in stands on the streets. All kinds of pins, neatly ordered by topic. I decided to find a Jewish or Israeli pin. I started looking for it. I looked in "pins with flags of the world," in "religious pins," and even in "pins of political parties," maybe I will find some Zionist propaganda. I found nothing.
I said maybe there is a misplaced pin. I went through all topics
"fauna and flora," "football clubs," anything.
And there it was, at last. A pin with the two tables of testimony,
with the first ten Hebrew letters symbolizing the ten commandments.
And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing
with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone,
written with the finger of God.
The pin was almost in the
middle of the board "military pins" next to the Iron Cross.
